Anti IR Poncho

The IR Camouflage Poncho is a lightweight, wearable thermal and visual signature management garment designed to reduce the detectability of personnel against EO/IR sensors operating in the Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR: 3–5 µm), and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR: 8–14 µm) bands. The poncho is intended for dismounted soldiers, reconnaissance teams, and static observation roles in diverse operational environments.

Dual-Band IR Signature Reduction

Engineered to suppress thermal emissions across both MWIR (3–5 µm) and LWIR (8–14 µm) infrared bands, the two primary detection ranges used by modern thermal imagers, IR pods, and UAV-mounted EO/IR sensors.

Lightweight & Wearable

Designed for dismounted soldiers and reconnaissance personnel, the poncho is lightweight enough for extended wear during patrol and observation tasks without adding significant physical burden or restricting operational movement.

Visual & NIR Camouflage

Provides camouflage effectiveness across the visible spectrum and near-infrared (NIR) range, defeating not just thermal sensors but also image intensifier night vision devices and NIR-sensitive optical systems.

Thermal Background Blending

The poncho's signature management technology causes the wearer to blend with the thermal signature of the surrounding natural background, significantly reducing contrast against foliage, terrain, and ambient temperature surfaces.
